Description:
The research regards a study of optical systems for illuminating streets and residential areas with the use of efficient optical collimators.
Laboratorio LUCE had a photometric characterization of traditional and LED street luminaries for a benchmark of luminous performances on a standard installation; reliefs of optical components, dimensions, simulation and optimization of lighting systems.
The prototypes have been measured in Laboratory and installed in an experimental plant to test the effective performances.
