Description:
The aim of this activity is an applied research project about the energy saving in public lighting achievable by the use of LEDs light sources and the possible integration of street lighting service with other urban network system. The research involves the development of a new project for a lighting fixture with LED sources, using modular light parts made in previous research "Advance LED Lighting Design Public Enlightenment 2010-2011”, and with new features concerning the environmental monitoring and the product’s lighting performance. The final phase of research involves the development of a new product for public lighting (lighting classes ME) with an energy saving target.
