Differences between Courses and Workshops
COURSES
![]() |
The courses are mainly held in class, with one or more interventions by lecturers of Politecnico di Milano and professionals. Finals are not necessarily required, if these are planned, they do not preclude the completion of the course. At the end of the course, to those who have attended at least 75% of the total hours, will receive a certificate of attendance. These courses are open masters students, undergraduates, graduates, undergraduates, professionals, workers and unoccupied.

WORKSHOP
![]() |
As part of the workshop modules, teachers start the work, discussing the typical design problems of the topic of the module (fundamentals of illuminating engineering are not presented) and propose a design experience based on a case study (real or hypothetical). Members have to work in groups on the presented project, following the directions of teachers and tutors in opportunities for regular reviews until the final presentation of their work. At the end of the workshop module, those who have attended at least 75% of the total hours will receive a certificate of attendance. These workshops modules can be attended by master students, undergraduates, graduates, undergraduates, professionals, workers and unoccupied.
